The kitchen space designed for Selgros is an example of a well-thought-out project where functionality meets modern design. The concept responds to the everyday needs of employees while delivering durable and visually refined solutions.
Kitchen Fit-Out – Elegance in Matte Finishes
The minimalist kitchen cabinetry was crafted using Egger PerfectSense Matt boards in a light grey tone, giving the space a calm and professional character. The matte finish reduces fingerprints, ensuring surfaces remain clean and visually appealing even with intensive use.
The cabinetry carcasses, made from light grey laminated boards, create a harmonious backdrop for the darker, contrasting countertop. The worktop, made of Egger Chicago Concrete Dark Grey board, introduces an industrial accent, adding a bold and contemporary edge to the overall composition.
At the heart of the kitchen is a peninsula with a raised countertop, complemented by red bar stools. This creates a functional zone for quick meals and informal team meetings.
Dining Area – Industrial Lightness
The dining space features tables with Egger Natural Hikora tops, whose warm, wood-inspired tone brings a welcoming contrast to the cooler kitchen palette. The milled edges enhance their elegance, while black steel legs add an industrial lightness and structural stability.
The tables are paired with ergonomic, contoured chairs of a modern design, ensuring comfort during both short and longer breaks.
Relaxation Zone – Comfort in Style
Adjacent to the dining area is a relaxation zone furnished with red upholstered sofas and lightweight, minimalist tables. The space is designed to support rest and recovery in a visually cohesive setting.
Along the windows, built-in seating finished with Egger Hikora boards integrates practical inductive charging points for mobile devices – a functional feature that enhances everyday usability.
This area is separated by a custom-designed shelving unit made of powder-coated steel, serving both as a spatial divider and a distinctive design element.
Greenery & Details – The Finishing Touch
Natural greenery has been thoughtfully incorporated through wooden planters finished in Egger Hikora, filled with live plants. The greenery improves the indoor microclimate while softening the industrial character and adding a welcoming atmosphere.
